Synesthesia

Motion Graphics, Kinetic Typography My exploration of motion through film and typography for an interactive art exhibit featuring thirteen international artists






Each artist was assigned a song to inspire their piece. Attendees are told to bring headphones so they can walk through the exhibit listening to the music that inspired the artwork that they are looking at. 2023’s theme was “Seeking Truth”.

I was given Empire Ants by Gorillaz which speaks on humanity’s need and nature to carry on similarly to worker ants. Consequently, frontman Damon Albarn encourages us to take our time and step outside of the ant farm to stop and smell the roses.

In the spirit of the event, I had all five senses represented through homemade ice cream samples, rose musk fragrance, and a limited run of custom tees available for sale.
